SPECIAL PROJECTS
The journey to building The Good Abode & Christine Martin Design has been one of deep travel through history, community, geology & history. The opportunity to connect with both my own and collective origin stories to bring a sense of place to design projects has been entirely rewarding. From UNESCO heritage sites to community centers to luxurious flats, I take each and every project on with the same philosophies that have become the foundation of my online work.

Copenhagen Flat, DENMARK
Redesign & shopping for high-end home in the heart of the city, 2010
San Miguel Allende, MEXICO
Remodel & Redesign of interior of Unesco World Heritage site home, working with the architects to preserve the integrity of the colonial stone, and collaborating with designers to custom-produce furniture locally as well as featuring local vintage, 2013
Todos Santos, BAJA SUR, MX
new rennovation & rebuild of 5-unit live/work space in the heart of Todos Santos' north end, working with architects, designers, and leading art curation, and all final details, 2020
Luang Prabang, LAOS
Redesigned 12-bedroom boutique hotel, transforming colonial reds & heavy woods into indigo hues and natural light, 2012
